Well, today is our official 1 year of blogging — a first blogiversary! As I write this, this is the 53rd blog post. This means that I’ve kept up with my goal of blogging regularly (about once a week). When Nick and I started really looking at teaching in South Korea a year and a half ago, I knew that I wanted to blog about life abroad and travel. It’s been my goal to share some of our adventures as well as help other travelers and individuals who want to live abroad by providing information based on both of our own experiences.
I wanted to take a look at the past year of blogging and see what we’ve accomplished and how we’ve grown. Please take a look below to learn more about our last year of blogging!

I didn’t have social media accounts for our blog until several months into this experience. Lately, I’ve really been focusing on connecting with other travelers and travel writers. It’s my goal to more than double the above numbers within the next year as I continue to experiment with social media usage.
Another goal of mine is to focus on other travel writing outlets, in addition to our blog. This will help gain more experience and exposure and it’s something that I really enjoy doing. I’m working on a few projects currently. I will also continue to read other travel blogs.
Overall, I’m very happy with what we’ve accomplished with our blog over the last year. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings as I continue to blog about our adventures living abroad and traveling to new parts of the world. As always, thank you so much for all of your support and continued readership! It means a lot! 🙂
