This summer, I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Orlando. I was in town for the #BlogHer conference and then planned to spend a couple of days park-hopping and having fun with one of my close friends. I wanted to stay at a hotel that would offer a comfortable stay, but also a convenient experience. I ended up staying at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs and I’m so glad that I did. I can see why so many people choose to stay here for their Disney trip!
This hotel is located nearby all of the Disney parks, making it very convenient to visit several parks during your Orlando trip. Even better, they offer easy busy transportation to and from the parks, so you really have no worries and you don’t have to pay for a rental car or pay high parking costs. It really is a great perk, whether you’re traveling with friends, as a couple or the whole family. Keep reading to see what else I loved about this hotel!
To start, the rooms are roomy and comfy. My friend and I stayed in a 2 Queen Bed room. The hotel room also included a desk area, a spacious bathroom, and a mini-fridge, which was nice for leftovers. The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista also has a number of amenities which make any stay better. There’s a family-friendly pool area, a business center, workout room, various sports courts, on-site restaurants and lounges, and cafe area, which is open 24/7. Need a coffee fix at 5 am? No worries! If you’re looking to spend time with the Disney characters, there’s also a fun character breakfast on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings at the hotel’s Lakeview Restaurant. There’s also an official Disney Store within the hotel, making it easier than ever to load up on souvenirs (without carrying them around the park all day!) See what I mean about convenience?
While staying here, my friend and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We ended up visiting on a non-character breakfast day, but I think that option would be pretty amazing, too! There was a lot of different foods choices, so even the pickiest of eaters can find something to love here. My favorite thing about the buffet was the Mickey Mouse waffles and the yummy fresh fruit! Everything was fresh and tasty. Our waiter was very friendly, too.
The breakfast buffet isn’t included in the regular room rate, but it’s worth checking out! This spread is available every day from 7:30 to 10:30 am. On non-character days, (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday) the breakfast buffet costs $9 for children and $17 for adults. On character days, (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) the breakfast buffet costs $12.95 for children and $26.95 for adults. If buffets aren’t your thing and you want to have a relaxing morning in bed, room service is available.
If you’re wondering how the park shuttles work, they pick you up and drop off right outside the hotel! This service is included in your $20 resort fee and buses run from 8 am to 1:30 am each day. When staying here, look for the latest shuttle bus timesheet to confirm details. The bus conveniently picks up outside the parks every 30 minutes. I personally felt this was one of the best features about this hotel.
As you can see, this is a great hotel for any Orlando adventure. If you value comfort and convenience, I recommend a stay at Orlando’s Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs.
Disclaimer: I partnered with Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Disney Springs. All of the convenient extras offered at this hotel really did make my Orlando stay so much better! I think you’ll love it here, too! 🙂
