My husband and I planned to take an international trip for our 25th anniversary. For a very long time, we were planning to go to Phuket but we were on a shoestring budget. I have heard a lot about Thrillophilia and I used to scroll through its social media pages all the time. As it was our first international trip, we thought it would be best to take help from the professionals. We thoroughly went through the Phuket’s reviews of Thrillophilia, other traveler experiences and checked the official website for our surety. To my surprise, there were a number of exciting packages at affordable prices.
To know more about the package, I contacted customer service right away. The representative seemed quite experienced and knowledgeable. He suggested to us a Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket tour package for our special anniversary vacation. I must say, I was extremely happy and surprised to get a 7 Days and 6 Nights package at such an unbelievable price. Before Thrillophilia, I never could have imagined that even international trips could come under our budget. The person was also sweet enough to congratulate and wish us Happy Anniversary at the end of the call, which made me smile instantly.
After understanding all the instructions and full itinerary of the trip, me and my husband were prepared to take our first ever international trip.
About Our Trip
Just as we got out of the Bangkok airport, we could see a board with our names on it. The driver gave us a warm welcome with a huge smile on his face. We had a comfortable sedan car waiting for us which already had two water bottles for us. From the airport, we went straight to our pre-booked hotel. We kept our first day simple with local sightseeing and shopping at Chatuchak Weekend market.
As per our itinerary, we went to witness Thailand’s greatest open zoo and also took a safari ride on the second day of our trip. Even though we were pretty tired, we still managed to visit the famous Grand Palace the same day.
On the day of our anniversary, the third day of our trip, it was time to head towards Pattaya. Our driver came to pick us up and greeted us with ‘Happy Anniversary’. The driver played Bollywood romantic songs for us all the way to Pattaya which I got to know later that my husband had requested for it. That was not all, my husband had another surprise for me.
As we reached the hotel, the entire room was decorated. There was a chocolate cake, a rose bouquet and a bottle of red wine on the table. I absolutely had no idea about it and I kept asking him how he managed to do all this. We spent the rest of our anniversary, walking on the beautiful beach of Pattaya and stargazing. I could not imagine a better way of celebrating 25 years of marriage with my partner. It was the most romantic and perfect day of my life. I earlier read in one of the Detailed Thrillophilia reviews that ‘Thrillophilia makes your special day even more special’ and I could relate to it now.
On the fourth day, our driver dropped us at Pattaya pier from where we took a speedboat to Coral Island. The island was surreal with crystal clear water and blue skies.
The next morning, we checked-out of the hotel at Pattaya and headed towards Phuket. As we wanted to enjoy the nightlife of Phuket, our driver took us to two clubs and we enjoyed it like we were still young. Also, we were missing Indian food and gladly our driver knew exactly where to take us. After relishing our comfort food, we went back to our hotel.
For the sixth day, we spent the day exploring the stunning beaches and caves of Phi Phi Island. It was quite a thrilling experience for us. And now it was time to say goodbye to this beautiful place on our seventh day.
